As all the water aerobics ladies know, at the end of the session, we raise our arms like a “butterfly,” according to our narrator David. So we jokingly began to call ourselves “The Bodacious Butterflies of Davis Lake.” Our friend Aggie even had pins made at one time saying that!
Well, somewhere along the way, we realized that many of us had polka dot swimsuits. So we decided that just for fun we would all wear them on Tuesdays. As you can see, it doesn’t take much for us to have fun together! 🙂
That led to an annual polka dot picture. I will say, we have not changed much over the years, ladies! It’s such fun to look back and see who once was a part of our group, and to welcome new friends. So here it is….enjoy!
